Nottens Bush Camp`s accommodation consists of beautifully appointed suites with open plan bedroom and en-suite bathroom. All suites have both indoor and outdoor shower facilities. All windows and sliding doors are fitted with screens and insect coils are provided. Each suite at Notten`s Bush Camp leads onto a private wooden deck with a beautiful view of the bush.Paraffin lamps and candles replace electric lighting for ambience and all the rooms are cooled with an overhead ceiling fan.Facilities are available for the re-charging of video machines and camera batteries in the safari lodge`s reception area. A main line telephone facility is also available.

Notten`s has a 20 meter lap pool with an open plan pavilion , where one can enjoy a day of sun tanning and drinking Notten`s Famous Pims No.1.

Weather
Nottens Bush Camp has a sub-tropical climate with a summer rainfall. The rainfall averages about 550mm ( 22 inches) per annum at this South African safari lodge in Mpumalanga.

Summer (September to March) temperatures can reach 40C ( 104F). Evening temperatures cool to 10C (18F). There are the occasional afternoon thunder storms.

Winters are mild with temperatures reaching 20 C ( 68F) and dry with cold nights, under 10C (46F).

Malaria
Notten`s Bush Camp is in alow-risk malaria area. Please consult your doctor about prophylactics. Mosquito repellant should be applied, especially during the summer between dawn and dusk.

Weddings and Honeymoons
Notten`s is a romantic destination that is perfect for honeymooners. It is an intermit lodge that takes exclusively a maximum of 16 guest. The private suites are beautifully decorated and all have en-suite bathrooms and outdoor showers. Coming back from an spectacular evening game drive, guest arrive with the camp fuller lit up with lanterns and candles.

Their suites are also lit up and they can bath in candle light, soaking up in luxurious amenities especially chosen by Notten`s, while listening to the sounds of the African night. A special private dinner under the evening stars can be arrange to make it an occasion never to be forgotten.
