Oppi Plaas Abek is a owner managed guest farm in the Hazyview area. We have 4 spacious family units. 2 x 4 sleepers and 2 x 5 sleepers.
Three of the Units are situated between the Litchi trees and look out over the Sabie River Valley. One of the 4 sleepers is situated under big shady trees and looks out over the garden. Each chalet has its own braai area and there is a communal pool.
Oppi Plaas Abek is centrally located between Sabie, Blyderiver and the Kruger National Park. From here you can visit the Park or do a day trip to all the Low veld attractions. You can even come on a golfing weekend as there are 5 golf courses with in a radius of 1 hour from us. For the families that like adventure we are with in 5 min drive from adventure activities.
We have a short gravel road up from the main tar road but it is not a bad road.
As this a a owner managed retreat we will be able to help you with any inquiry you have or booking you would like to make. Unfortunately pets are not allowed but please bring your kids along.
For toughs how would like a farm breakfast we do do breakfast on request.

Oppi Plaas Abek: Budget Unit - sleeps max 4 people. From the main entrance you enter the room with the single beds there is also a table and chairs. The next room is the kitchen fully equipped with a stove, microwave, fridge and cutlery and crockery. Then you go into the main bedroom with a double bed dressing table and the television/DSTV, it also has a built in wardrobe. The bathroom with a shower leads of the main bedroom. The unit has a veranda with table and chairs and a braai.
Family Suite - Unit 2 and 3 are both max 5 sleepers. These 2 units have been newly renovated and now have 2 bathrooms. One with a shower and the other a bath. The Main bedroom has a built in wardrobe and a double bed. The open plan living area and kitchen has 3 single beds in and a lounge suite. There is a television/DSTV in this area. The Kitchen is fully equipped with stove, fridge, microwave and cutlery and crockery.
Both units have a big veranda with a table and seating and their own braai area.
Budget Chalet - sleeps max 4 people. This chalet has an enclosed veranda with table and chairs on. The open plan kitchen living room space has 2 single beds, seating and the television/DSTV. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, microwave, fridge and cutlery and crockery. The bathroom and toilet are separate and there is a bath and shower in this unit. In the main bedroom there is a double bed and a wardrobe.
Activities:
There is a communal swimming pool and kids swings. You can also go for walks on the farm.
Health and Climate:
Our winters are very mild but the summers are very humid. This can start in October/November and lasts up till March. Please be aware that Malaria is possible in and around the Kruger National Park.
