Pontac Manor Hotel & Restaurant is a celebrated establishment in the historic town of Paarl, at the heart of the Cape Winelands, close to Cape Town. Quiet seating areas are dotted in various locations in the gardens: here guests can relax with a book or newspaper, enjoy a peaceful moment of contemplation or a cosy chat, or order beverages to be served in the gardens.

On the expansive Victorian Veranda, guests can sip sun-downers whilst savouring the magnificent view to the mountains beyond or enjoying the tranquility of the gardens where the squirrels hop amongst the oaks.

On warm summer days, enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool or bask by the poolside on a reclining lounger. Snacks, light meals and beverages are served throughout the day and garden or pool service is readily available upon request.

Restaurant
The award-winning “Restaurant at Pontac” is located in the beautifully restored old barn of this historic estate. The setting on the slopes of Paarl Rock is exceptional. Patrons dine al fresco on a white-washed patio with a unique view and the relaxing burble of the Koi pond, or inside in a restaurant decorated with quirky coloured African wall hangings and ceiling drapes.

Bricked-in chicken nests, antique window frames with deep-set ledges and original stone fireplaces add to the ambience, which is delightfully informal with the accent on country hospitality, offset by elegant tableware and professional service

Beauty Clinic
The Medi-Skin Health and Beauty facility, which offers a range of revitalizing and relaxing massages, facials, manicures, pedicures, waxing and other cosmetic treatments as well as beauty products on sale. The facility is open during normal day-time hours and treatments can also be booked for after-hours.
