Situated in cosmopolitan Green Point, in the heart of Cape Town, on the slopes of Signal Hill is Port View House. Only a comfortable 10 minute walk to Cape Towns famous and vibrant V & A Waterfront, and 1,5 km (or a ten to fifteen minute walk) from the Cape Town International Convention Centre.
A full English breakfast is served in the breakfast room, or on the sun deck, from which you can enjoy sea views. From the deck you overlook the swimming pool with a small waterfall and our beautiful garden.
At night the lights in the garden, and the swimming pool that changes colour, turns the small garden into a tranquil oasis.
Accommodation at Port View House
Port View House has 8 rooms available in total, with the option of either twin beds or a double bed. Each room offers a mini bar, flat screen TV and an en-suite bathroom. Two of the rooms have air-conditioning and small balconies overlooking Cape Town port. We also a family room with twin beds for a family of four located closest to the pool area.
Dining Room
Breakfast, either continental or cooked, can be served in the breakfast room, outside on the balcony or in your room upon special request and can be timed to suit your schedule. Ingredients are bought fresh daily.
Entertainment
Sit and enjoy the view from the balcony or unwind and catch some rays on the pool deck’s lounging chairs and take a dip in the pool on hot summer days. We offer free Wi-Fi and an in-door lounge for stay-in days or if you wish to receive guests. Outside are a few allocated parking bays as well as free street parking with overnight security.
Because of Port View House ideal location, West coast flowers, Cape Point, Winelands, the city and surrounds, bird watching, whale watching and many more attractions are easily visited in a day.
