Remhoogte Mountain Lodge is a working farm situated in the quaint village of Skeerpoort within the Magalies Biosphere, only an hour away from Johannesburg and Pretoria. Access to many of the activities is the area is easy from our lodge. The views are absolutely amazing. Accommodation ranges from double rooms up to 2 bedroom self-catering units and we can accommodate up to 22 guests at any one time.
Remhoogte Mountain Lodge is situated on the Magalies Mountain and comprises 2 separate lodges. Crafters Lodge is designed as 5 individual units which can be combined for small conferences, family get-togethers or crafting workshops. Mountain Lodge consists of 3 x 2-bed self-catering units and is ideal for family getaways.
All units have tea/coffee making facilites, hairdryers, fans, built-in cupboards and en-suite bathrooms with vanity products. They also have private verandas/patios.
The Mountain Lodge units have built-in braais on their patios and private parking. A communal swimming pool with gazebo, Jacuzzi, boma and lapa are available for the use of guests. Laundry facilities available on request.
At the Crafters Lodge there is a communal covered patio with built-in braai and a separate fire pit as well as a swimming pool and Jacuzzi. On site parking is available for all the units.
Accommodation at Remhoogte Mountain Lodge: Unit 1 is a Self Catering unit with 1 bedroom (Queen bed)and a separate bathroom with shower. Open plan fully equipped kitchen, dining and lounge areas. Own veranda.
Units 2 and 5 are double rooms with 2 x 3/4 beds and bathroom with shower. Separate entrance and veranda. Coffee/tea station in room.
Units 3 and 4 are double rooms with queen beds and bathroom with shower. Separate entrance and veranda. Coffee/tea station in room.
Guests can book the whole lodge for a function if desired. These 5 units comprise the Crafters Lodge and can be booked together for a function, family birthday or conference. Units 6, 7 and 8 are 2 Bedroom Self Catering units. 1 bedroom with queen bed and 1 bedroom with 2 x 3/4 beds. 1 bathroom with bath and shower. Open plan fully equipped kitchen, dining and lounge areas and patio with built in braai.
Activities:
We offer game drives, and there are cycling and hiking trails available on site as well. In the area there are many activities such as golf, adventure sports, horse riding, quad biking, hot air ballooning, restaurants, shopping and fishing.
