Only a 100 km from Kimberley on our way to the Augrabies falls near Upington. The area offers a variety of outdoor activities such as, romantic sunset cruises on the river, the Confluence wine cellars, fresh air wild life trips on a game farm, and a 9 hole golf course.
For the stay-in person, you can sun bave next to the pool or laze away on the deck with a good book and a glass of wine. San rock engravings There are about 3000 engravings and petroglyphs at Driekops Island in the Riet River, which were probably made by the San. When the river is in flood the engravings are buried by water.
Most images are abstract, and perhaps are related to the San religion. Douglas Wine Cellar Established in 1968. The cellar produces a wide variety of table and desert wines.

Take the R357 from KImberley to Douglas, its about 100 km. When you come into Douglas , turn right at the second street (Kerkstreet), Drive down two blocks until you get the STOP sign. We are situated on the left hand corner of the stop sign.
