Apart from great views, the house has an outdoor seated fire pit/ potjie cooking area and a huge indoor fireplace. This house was completed during lockdown with no and limited access to materials and labor. Changes to original plans had to be made in order to use whatever we could find to finish the house.
Built-in cupboards were hand-painted, Stones replaced tiles in outside showers, all furniture including lounge sets, bathtub shell, and built-in cupboards was personally built by the owner during the lockdown. Hence the finishes are unique to this house. This home proves that despite limitations tasks can be completed with a positive mindset and foresight.
