Sabie River Camp is a family resort on the banks of the Sabie River, located on the outskirts of Sabie town, close to the Sabie Falls.
Our heated rock pool, impeccably clean and modern ablution facilities, as well as our open-air bar, rim-flow pool and wooden deck overlooking the Sabie River, are but some of the unique features that will make your stay with us a pleasant and memorable one.
We offer a range of pre-erected self-catering tents - some on stilts and wooden platforms, as well as spacious luxury safari tents with en-suite ablution facilities and kitchenette. Our boma is available for large groups.
Sabie River Camp is less than four hours drive from the Johannesburg International Airport, a relaxing hour`s drive to and from the Kruger National Park, and minutes away from a number of spectacular waterfalls, God`s Window and Blyde River Canyon.
Accommodation at Sabie River Camp: We offer a range of pre-erected self-catering tents - some on stilts and wooden platforms, as well as spacious luxury safari tents with en-suite ablution facilities and kitchenette.
Luxury Safari Tents (sleeps 6) Our luxury tents are pitched on a solid foundation and boast a well equipped kitchenette (complete with fridge, two-plate stove, microwave oven, as well as all utensils needed for self-catering). Our double and single beds come with comfortable mattresses, linen and insect repelling nets.
Our luxury safari tents sleeps six people in an open-plan setup and each tent has its own dining room, en-suite bathroom and braai area.
Standard Tents (sleeps 2) Our two-person dome tents, erected on stilts and wooden platform, have access to communal kitchens - with electrical appliances - and our impeccably clean and modern ablution facilities.
All linen for the beds are supplied, but you have to bring your own cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery.

No microwaves are provided in any kitchen on site.
Boma at Sabie River Camp: Our Boma sleeps up to 32 people in tents and is ideally suited to large groups. We supply the tents and beds, and you bring your own linen (or sleeping bags) and your own cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery.
The boma have a communal kitchen and is screened off from the rest of the resort to ensure privacy.

Cancellation Policy:
Bookings will only be valid on receipt of full deposit that must be paid (2 Days) after booking reservation has been made, failure will result in cancellation of reservation without prior notification. Last and full payment must be made (7 Days) before date of arrival due to unpredictable Load shedding schedules.
Payment of the deposit will constitute a legal contract between the guest/s and the resort, guest/s accept liability to pay the full booking reservation and agrees to abide by the rules of the resort.
Deposits Payable On Arrival (All items must be handed in at office for full refund value thereof).
A R100.00 Per Towel Deposit (Bring own towels, Towels are available for hire and showers only) not applicable for camping, A R200.00 Key Deposit.
All Refunds will be handled strictly by head office in accordance to our cancellations policy, all cancellations will be accepted if provided in writing (30 Days) prior to arrival date, stating the reason thereof, cancellations fee will apply.
Refund Value Deductible Before Arrival Date.
A 5% handling fee will be deducted from refund value: - 0 to 7 Days, 50 % - 8 to 14 Days, 20 % - 15 to 30 Days, 10 % - 30 +, 0 %
No refunds what so ever will be considered.

Should a cancellation be received for any reason what so ever you will forfeit (50 %) of all monies paid to date.
IMPORTANT: The tents are made up according to bookings, please let us know before 16:00 of any changes. We reserve the right to hold or change any booking stands “subject to availability” without prior notice unless otherwise stated. NO SMOKING IN OUR TENTS - You will be fined on the spot. Not applicable with camping, and if camping please be sure to bring a braai stand, 3 point blue caravan plug and gazebo. We do not have any braaiers available for campers. NO MICROWAVES ARE PROVIDED.

Directions:
From Johannesburg Airport (distance 320km): Take the R21 direction Boksburg.
Then change over to the N12 direction Witbank. The N12 becomes the N4.
From the N4 you take the turnoff left to Belfast onto the R540 to Dullstroom and then to Lydenburg. In Lydenburg take the R37 via the Long Tom Pass to Sabie.
Driving into Sabie and cross over the first 3-way stop and at the next stop street (in the centre of town) you turn left (direction Graskop).
Immediately after the bridge (as you exit Sabie), turn left and follow the gravel road for 300m - our entrance gate is on your left.
