Directions:
Saxe-Coburg Lodge is situated in the centre of town (60 Kerk Street) which is the main street of Prince Albert. Arriving from Cape Town or Johannesburg on the N1, turn off Prince Albert Road 45km to Prince Albert. We are on the left and from Oudtshoorn 70km via Swartberg Pass or 110km via Meiringspoort pass the big white church on your left, 500m further we are on the right.
We are in a central; position in the delightful village of Prince Albert, Karoo, Western Cape, South Africa, within walking distance to all the local restaurants and places of interest.
The Swartberg pass is undoubtedly the most spectacular mountain pass in the whole of Southern Africa. The pass which is 4km distant is kept in good order and can be traversed with ordinary motorcars.
