The beautifully furnished en-suite bedrooms are either twin bedded or with a queen size bed and have their own entrance leading from a wide verandah.
Shandon Lodge offers 9 luxury double/twin en-suite bedrooms with their own private entrance. All rooms are air-conditioned and are equipped with ceiling fans, bar fridges, colour TV with M-Net & DSTV channels, tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryers and much, much more.
Special attention is given to the highest standard percale linen for the ultimate sleep experience. All our bathrooms are en-suite and have a separate shower, some of the rooms also have a bath. Large fluffy bath sheets and toiletries are provided. No smoking is allowed in the rooms but is permitted on the extensive verandahs.
Smoking is not permitted in the rooms, but it is provided for on the verandah.

Direction from KMIA Nelspruit Airport to Shandon Lodge
Exit KMIA Nelspruit Airport, proceed to roundabout. Turn LEFT and travel through farmlands not sure how long but quite far keep going! At first 4-way stop, drive straight over DO NOT TURN HERE. Travel short distance and you will come to a T-Junction turn Right this is the N4 into Nelspruit.
About 1km along you will see a slip road to the left for Nelspruit CBD take this road or you will end up on the Nelspruit by-pass! (Indicated by a large yellow sign with Nelspruit on it and a CBD symbol!
As you approach Nelspruit you will see a large orange FIFA World Cup Host City Sign turn LEFT here the brown sign reads Enos Mabuza Drive, Nelsville, Steiltes.
Follow this road all the way over the top of the mountain about 4/5 Kms. Keep going until you come to the round-about (Ferreira Street) Turn LEFT.
Follow the road around the corner and you will see a sign for Shandon Lodge to turn RIGHT into Von Braun Street. Proceed up Von Braun and you will find us on the corner of Von Braun & Saturn Streets. White house , green roof!
Directions from OR Tambo JHB Airport :
From Airport take R 21 for BOKSBURG and then the R21 for WITBANK.
At WITBANK the R21 joins up with the N4 to NELSPRUIT
Please be warned of speeding - especially around Belfast, Machadodorp and coming into Nelspruit!
You will pass thru' 2 toll-gates (Middleburg & Machado) and will need to pay cash - ( R40 & R 60 respectively - that's SA Rands)
As you enter Nelspruit, take the slip road for Nelspruit/Barberton otherwise you will end up on the ring road around Nelspruit.
Drive into town and at the ABSA Building on your right turn right Ferreira Street
Follow Ferreira Street- up hill at roundabout go straight over and then next turning to the right is Von Braun Street.
We are on the corner of Von Braun & Saturn Streets white house/green roof!!
