Silvermist Wine Estate accommodation:
At Silvermist, cottages are of a high standard and are individually positioned, designed and decorated. A daily housekeeping service is provided.

The Garden Suties are equipped with starter kits consisting of tea bags, instant coffee sachets, powdered milk, sugar sachets, toilet soap, hand and body lotion shampoo, fire lighters, wood, candles and matches.

Children are welcome and babies under 18 months can be accommodated in addition to the number of people per cottage.

Swimming:
The sparkling pool is located on the lawned terrace below the Manor House. The nearest beach is 5 minutes away, by car.

Hiking:
Silvermist is located within the Table Mountain Nature reserve at the cross roads of many magnificent trails.

Golf:
Many golf courses are within 20 minutes drive.

Bowls:
Bowling greens are from 10 minutes drive away.

Excursions close by:
- Hout Bay village is 10 minutes drive away; Constantia Valley and its wine route is 5 minutes drive away; Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens is 5 minutes, by car, or 45 minutes walking via Cecilia Forest.

- Cape Point, golf courses, V&A Waterfront, Cape Town Airport as well as the winelands area is all within easy access from Silvermist.

- If you are a nature lover, take advantage of the splendid mountain walks in the nature reserve. Or have a cosy picnic beside the lake while you take in the vistas.

Cancellation Policy:

A 50% deposit secures your booking. The balance of the booking value must be paid prior to arrival. Deposits will be forfeited for cancellations made within 7 days of arrival.
Where cancellations made between 8 & 31 days of arrival, 25% of deposit is refundable.

Directions:

From the Cape Town Airport:
- Take the N2 freeway towards the city. At its conclusion, as it forks, take the left hand feed off towards Muizenberg on the M3 (De Waal Drive), passing the University of Cape Town on your right.

- At the first set of traffic lights turn right into Rhodes Avenue.
Follow Rhodes Avenue passed Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens on your right to the T Junction at the far end.

- Turn right at the T- Junction into Rhodes Drive and follow the road as it winds around the mountain to the traffic circle at Constantia Nek.

- Drive of the way around the circle and take the Hout Bay Main Road feed Off.

* Be aware that the entrance to Silvermist is just +/- 300 meters from the traffic circle on the left hand side.

- Travel slowly down the Hout Bay Main Road or you will miss us. Turn left through the white gate posts onto Silvermist and follow the drive all the way to the top to find reception.
