Skulpies Accommodation provides self-catering accommodation In Strandfontein and is well known for its clean, comfortable, well maintained units at affordable rates.

We are a NON smoking establishment situated approximately 5 min walking distance from the beach and tidal pool.  Off-street parking. Not pet friendly.

Skulpies self-catering accommodation invites you to sit back, relax and unwind in one of our three fully equipped self catering cottages.

Three fully equipped self service units each with its own braai and entrance gives full privacy and you experience a home from home atmosphere.

From the earliest times Strandfontein was a favoured holiday destination where people use to camp next to the sea in their “Matjieshouses”.

The first dwelling to be constructed in the area in the early 1900s was occupied by Sir Richard Fryer and later became the hotel. Just outside Strandfontein you can find the grave of Lady Fryer.

A local farmer has commemorated history and named his Estate wines Fryer`s Cove.

Strandfontein is a beautiful sea-side village situated near the mouth of the Olifantsriver.  Many inhabitants from the area have their holiday or retirement homes here.

It has long white sandy beaches, clear blue sea and is the crayfish mecca of the local diving community.  The excellent fishing is due to the vast array of fish species that are found in the Strandfontein waters just waiting for the ardent angler.

Galjoen (4 Sleeper)
Galjoen is a 2 bedroom apartment that caters for 4 people.  The main bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom 2 x -beds:
