Sonnekus Guest House, a Cape Town Guesthouse, in the suburb of St James (close to Kalk Bay and Muizenberg).

Sonnekus, a gracious old home, circa 1926, sits at the base of the St James Mountain with the waters of False Bay at her feet. The Guest House has been lovingly restored with guest`s comfort in mind and each room has been individually styled drawing inspiration from the sea and mountain views.

Accommodation at Sonnekus Guest House:
Murex
This room offers a view of the ocean and the garden, it also has a fireplace, which can be used in winter.

Cowrie
This room is very large and spacious, has its own fireplace and lounge area. For the early risers the sun rise from this room is spectacular, as is the view of False Bay.

Urchin
The Urchin room offers the most spectacular view of False Bay, from Gordon`s Bay in the East right across to Simon`s Bay in the West.

Whelk
This gives you a good view of False Bay. It has a fireplace for those chilly winter nights.

Conch
This room is cosy and in the centre of the house. An open plan bathroom makes this an intimate hide-away.
