Sonskyn Hof Guest House offers comfortable guest rooms and is situated in Jan Kempdorp. The guest house boasts luxury rooms and a function/event space for special occasions.
Each individually decorated guest room features a private bathroom. Each room contains a flat-screen TV with DStv and Showmax, tea/coffee facilities, a sitting area, and a patio to relax on. Some rooms contain a fridge-freezer for food storage.
The guest house offers free Wi-Fi access, a communal lounge and dining area, an event space to hire for conferencing, intimate weddings or social gatherings, as well as free secure parking.
Jan Kempdorp is an agricultural town situated in the centre of the Vaalharts Irrigation Scheme in the Northern Cape province of South Africa. The town is located approximately 90 km from Kimberley, where guests can visit the Flamingo Casino, The Big Hole, go shopping, and visit other attractions and facilities.

- If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
- If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit.
- If cancelling 21 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
- If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit.
* The cardholder & ID/Passport must be present at check-in.
* The credit card used for the online payment must be present at check-in.

* Reception – If you need us, please ring the doorbell / phone / WhatsApp – someone is always here.
* Consideration of fellow guests – In order to maintain a tranquil environment, please keep noise levels down, and be considerate to other when using the public areas and when coming home late at night or leaving early mornings, etc.
* Visitors – OUTSIDE VISITORS will not be allowed on the premises. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in a full R1000.00 additional charge per person. This is for security reasons and for the safety of all our guests. The person that allowed that person in, will be asked to leave the premises immediately. If you want someone to sleep over, pay the additional fees and arrange it with the office. Please, no secrets.
* Load shedding – Sonskyn Hof is currently not connected to any solar or generators but will soon be fully solarized. Our apologies for the inconvenience that our dear Eskom is causing us. There is a load shedding light in every room to ease the discomfort.
* Breakfast – Breakfast is served in the dining room, between 6.00am and 9.00 am. Please notify us of your time that you want to enjoy a continental breakfast.
* Please take note: If no time is given to our staff, we assume you will not eat breakfast with us.
* Departure – Departure time is no later than 10:00 am.
* Keys and gate remote – Please hand in your keys and gate remote upon checking out. Please note that there will be a charge of R850 for any keys/remotes that are lost or not handed in upon check-out.
