Stemar Self Catering Guest House, was founded in 1997 as part of the growing tourism industry in Graaff - Reinet, the Gem of the Karoo.
Catering for single tourists as well as families, we have been offering self catering accommodation of the utmost standards to visitors from South Africa and Abroad.
The Tourism Grading Council of South Africa has awarded us with a 2 Star Grading, which means that we are able to cater to every need of our visitors while they enjoy the splendour of our lovely town.

- Follow N9 into Graaff-Reinet
- Follow this road straight into town, heading straight for the old Dutch Reformed Church
- Follow Church Street around the church to 3-Way stop
- Turn LEFT at 3-Way Stop
- Turn Right at next corner ( Bourke Street, SPAR on Right )
- Follow Bourke Street to Stop Street. ( Park Street )
- Cross straight over stop street ( Bourke Street becomes Rothman Street )
- Follow Rothman Street all the way to the end
- You will find us at the last house on right hand side - No.1 Rothman Street.
