Summerfields Rose Retreat and Spa includes 11 secluded Tented Suites, a new Luxury Suited Tent, a Forest Suite, an award-winning restaurant and a sumptuous spa.
Our farm comprises 100 acres of rolling hills, with orchards of macadamia and litchi trees and granadilla plantations, only a few minutes from the Kruger National Park.
Attention to detail is evident in every rose-variety suite, with specially designed furniture, percale linen and the tantalizing fragrance of fresh cut roses from the farm. All units are air-conditioned with additional roof fans, have double vanities, an outdoor shower and luxury bath, are stocked with quality toiletries and have a private fridge for the comfort of our guests.

Duke Gin is also produced on our Summerfields Estate. From farm to bottle, the entire process is carried out on the farm to make sure that Duke Gin is pure, clear and sumptuous. Even the botanicals that give Duke Gin its distinctive taste are mostly grown at Summerfields.

Summerfields Rose Spa:
Treatment prices include coffee, tea and water. All alcoholic beverages, juice, cappuccino and bottled water will be charged for.
Guests are pampered to aromatherapy, reflexology, hand, foot and scalp massages, facial treatments, full body exfoliation and wraps as well as manicures and pedicures.

The River Lodge comprises 11 luxury tented suites, one Jackalberry Suite and a Forest Room, surrounded by the music of nature the sounds of cascading water, amplified by a choir of bird calls and the occasional snort of a hippo.
Each suite has air-conditioning, roof fan, large bath sheets, bath gowns, tea and coffee making facilities, fridge, hairdryer, electronic safe, a range of quality toiletries and a selection of current magazines
Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served at our River Caf, where there is also a lounge and library area with views over the Sabie River. We have satellite television available in the lounge area as well as Wifi available in the rooms, free of charge.

Dining at Summerfields is a gastronomic experience. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail, from the carefully prepared menus to the table settings. We carry the romance of Summerfields through to the River Caf. All vegetables are taken fresh from our own organic nursery, where everything is grown as close to its natural, original form as possible.
The River Caf, a Observatory restaurant on the river, is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

This sumptuous tented suite overlooks the Sabie River and is fully equipped to make your stay the ultimate experience. Often referred to as ‘glamping’, Jackalberry Suite lends itself to those seeking that extra special something.
A beautiful family home overlooking the Sabie Valley and a 20m pool. The Kitchen is spacious and well equipped with an outside braai area, scullery and laundry. A main bedroom with a large en suite bathroom with bath and two showers. There are 2 smaller bedrooms downstairs both with double beds, sharing a bathroom with a shower. The outside bedroom has with a queen bed. There is another bathroom upstairs with a shower, basin and toilet. 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a sleeper couch.

The Summerfields Stonehouse offers self-catering for up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms. The Stonehouse is a private dwelling on the Summerfields Estate, with its own gardens. Rooms are spacious and well-appointed.

Take the N4 towards Witbank/Middelberg
Directions from Johannesburg:
- Take the N12 towards Witbank/Middelberg.
- Then join or stay on the N4 towards Middelberg, continue through
- Machadodorp en-route to Nelspruit.
- Head North on the R40 through White River and Hazyview.
- Continue down Main Street, Hazyview. At the Perry’s Bridge stop, turn left on the R536 towards Sabie.
- Summerfields Estate is 4.5 km from here.
- Follow the Summerfields sign boards and turn right into the Summerfields Restaurant parking area.
