Teri-Lemveli Lodge - with new owners since October 2016, the De Jager family from Beaufort West (Hennie, Melony, Terblanche and Mignon), are excited to share the tranquility of the Karoo with you.
Our name: TERI = Terence and Ria Young and parents of the owners, who initiated the Lodge in 2002, and LEMVELI which means heritage in Xhosa. We are situated on the N1, South East of Beaufort West, and only 15km out of town.
Our self-catering chalets are equipped with DSTV and air conditioners. You will enjoy your stay in rooms with private bathrooms (shower and/or bath), and double or single beds, as well as sleeper couch - Up to six people per self-catering chalet. You have your own little private area per chalet with braai facilities and here you can experience true Karoo greatness.
Your view over the enormous Stolsriver Dam will give you total peace of mind. Enjoy a glass of some of our best South African wines available at our shop and choose any of our true Karoo lamb braai packs, watch how wild animals come drink water while staring into the best Karoo sunset.
We also offer tastefully decorated and secluded self-catering Stable Rooms (Standard Double and Family), situated 4 km from the main building. The double rooms and family rooms are equipped with air conditioners, private bathroom and kitchenette. Guests have access to a swimming pool and barbecue facilities.
We also offer conference facilities for groups, and the best Karoo Breakfasts.
Enjoy a sun downer on the deck of the main building and experience the amazing sunset of the Karoo. We are fully licenced and a honesty bar is available.
Take a long walk on the farm, or just relax next to the pool. Remember to bring your mountain bike for a nice ride on the farm.
Accommodation at Teri-Lemveli Lodge: Self-catering chalets: Fully-equipped chalets, each with double or single beds in the main bedroom, fold-out double sleeper couch, two single beds in the loft and bathroom (bath and/or shower). Up to six people per self-catering chalet. You have your own little private area with braai facilities, and here you can experience true Karoo greatness. With a view over the enormous Stolsriver Dam. Enjoy a glass of some of our best South African wines available at our shop and choose any of our true Karoo lamb braai packs. Walk, jog or take your mountain bike and explore the 250 ha farm. Watch some game drink water during the day (please remember the animal are wild). Guest have access to a swimming pool. Towels available at the shop. Stable Rooms: Tastefully decorated Stable Rooms (double and family). Private and isolated, only 4 km from the main building. The rooms are equipped with air conditioners and a small kitchenette. Guests have access to a swimming pool and barbecue facilities.
