Terra-Rouge, meaning, red earth, is a sheep and cattle farm in the Kalahari desert, close to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, where only a few decades ago, bushmen used to live.
As well as offering traditional Namibian style hospitality, a warm welcome, comfortable accommodation and an interesting environment to explore during your holiday. Terra Rouge offers exclusivity and a unique farm-style experience for a maximum of 10 Guests accommodated in 3 adjacent self-contained Bungalows.
All the rooms and bungalows have en-suite facilities and air-conditioning, are uniquely decorated and include a well-equipped kitchen or cooking facilities and outdoor barbecue (braai) area for self-catering.
We have the Meerkat Manor campsite on the dry bed of the Auob river with hot -water showers, flush toilets and a magnificent view over the dunes and trees.

Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park - previously Kalahari Gemsbok Park The Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park is renowned for its red sand dunes and herds of gemsbok, springbok, eland and blue wildebeest, with occasional sightings of black-mane lions, leopard and many raptors. And it’s only 45km away - just a short drive - so we are the ideal Namibian starting point for those wanting to make a day trip to the park. Check the Border Post opening times before your visit.

Our luxurios rooms are all en-suite, each with its own entrance, air conditioned (heated for winter), mini-bar, coffee/tea facilities and equipped for selfcatering, for guests who wants it.

Drive 100 km's from Kos on the C17 which leads to the C15. Take the road to Mata Mata border post. From Gochas take road C15 to the Kgalagadi Park and travel about 140km where you'll find Terra-Rouge signposted.
