Welcome to Thandolwami Bushlodge & Spa, set in an enclosed area of 100-hectares within a wildlife reserve just 35 km outside the town of Hoedspruit.
This family friendly lodge is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts. Keep your eyes peeled for giraffes, ostriches, impalas, antelopes, and sable antelopes that roam freely in the area. The enclosed area is home to a main lodge house, three chalets, a bush house, and a luxury king room.
Each chalet and room is air-conditioned and features an en-suite bathroom, a bar fridge, and a tea and coffee station. The bush house is located further away from the main lodge and is equipped for self-catering - breakfast and dinner are possible at the main house restaurant. It contains 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, as well as its own private pool area and braai area.
Wi-Fi internet access is available. Various local and international meals that are sure to satisfy your taste buds can be enjoyed in the central thatched dining area, overlooking a sparkling 7 m by 15 m swimming pool. The swimming pool overlooks a waterhole, where you can spot various animals coming for a drink.
Relax around the lodge fire pit with a drink and enjoy the stars and sounds of the African night. Our 24-hour staffed reception is always available to assist you with any needs or requests you may have.
Ndlovumzi is a 1000-hectare wildlife reserve with its northern boundary being the Olifants River, and is located 35 km outside the town of Hoedspruit. Visitors can spot various plains game within the reserve including giraffe, waterbuck, wildebeest, zebra, nyala, warthog, jackal, red hartebeest, eland, hippo, and other small antelope species. It is also great for birding and over 300 species can be spotted. It is an hour’s drive to the world-renowned Kruger National Park and very close to Moholoholo Animal Rehabilitation Centre.

The bush house sleeps 6 and has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. Each bedroom has a king bed that can be converted to twin single beds and en-suite shower. The house has its own pool and braai. Breakfast and dinner are possible in the main house restaurant. The bushouse is solar powered.
