The Farside Farm is situated on the Currys Post road a mere 8 km from the Nottingham Road Village. Although conveniently close to the N3 motorway, it is undeniably nestled in the iconic countryside for which the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands is famous.
The buildings have been lovingly crafted from grey sandstone and antique timbers. Seemingly centuries-old, the facilities are modern and designed for the ultimate experience in cosy country living and style.
Access to the famous Midlands Meander, golf courses, shops, art galleries, craft centres, restaurants, country pubs, scenic walks, fly fishing, horse riding and the country`s top private schools.

Here you have a secluded, upmarket, two-bedroom self-catering cottage. Situated on the edge of an eragrostis field and a mere 30 meters from a picturesque trout dam, it offers magnificent views over the tranquil settings. With this well-appointed, fully serviced cottage you also get:

The Farside Gallery:
Here you have a spectacular multi-purpose hall with a distinctly grand mediaeval feel. Towering beamed ceilings, grand candelabras, giant dry-stone fireplaces and towering double doors all lead onto a private piazza. This is a venue to behold.
The Farside Gallery is a truly enchhanting space which can comfortably seat between 80 and 100 people at a banquet.

The Dam Cottage - Self Catering
The wooden-beamed ceilings, cosy Jetmaster fireplace and marble-topped kitchen are complimented with antique furnishings throughout. Both rooms are en-suite. For the real romantics, the main bedroom also has a deep Victorian ball-and- claw bath. The quality bed linen is underpinned by dual-control electric blankets. Extra soft and warm blankets also make sure you stay cosy. The kitchen is completely equipped. There’s also a weber braai and free firewood.

The Stable Cottage - Self Catering
The comfy open-plan lounge has wonderful couches facing onto a wood burner. Firewood is free. The main en-suite bedroom is notably spacious. Added soft blankets and dual electric blankets promise to keep you extra warm. There is an extra room with an extremely comfortable wooden double-bunk bed with premium mattresses. The kitchen is very well equipped with a oven, gas hob and a dishwasher and washing machine. There’s also a Weber braai.
