Perched on the rocks on the edge of the Mossel Bay peninsula, just below the St Blaize lighthouse. The Point Hotel`s Lighthouse Restaurant must surely have one of the most dramatic settings in the country.
An A La Carte menu caters for all tastes, serving diverse dishes and specializing in Mossel Bay`s famous seafood. Open all day, “The Lighthouse” serves sumptuous Breakfasts, Lunches and Dinners as well as Snacks throughout the day.
Conference Facilities
Caters for 80 people in cinema style and 65 people in conference style layout. Situated next to the Lighthouse Restaurant the facility is also used for private functions and Group arrivals. Situated in Point Road, The Point, Mossel Bay
Traveling from George to Mossel Bay on the N2 take the Mossel Bay offramp and turn left towards the traffic intersection directly opposite the entrance to Langeberg Mall. At this traffic intersection, turn right and follow the road with the sea on your left. At the 4th traffic intersection, the road forks to the left, take left fork and continue until you reach the traffic intersection with FNB Bank on left corner and NG Church on right corner. Turn right into Church Street, at next traffic intersection turn left into Marsh Street, the main road of Mossel Bay. Proceed down Marsh Street without deviation and this road will lead you around the Point, and you will find The Point Hotel on the left next to the Dros Restaurant.
Traveling from Cape Town to Mossel Bay:
You follow the N2 (approximately 3.5 to 4 hrs). Pass the PetroSA Plant (which is 10km outside Mossel Bay) on the left. Continue along Louis Fourie Road, passing four sets of traffic lights. After the 4th traffic intersection you take left offramp indicating Mossel Bay and turn right into Marsh Street, the main road of Mossel Bay. Proceed down Marsh Street without deviation and this road will lead you around the Point and you will find The Point Hotel on the left next to the Dros Restaurant.
