The Potting Shed Guest House - The beautiful seaside town of Hermanus is only an hour and a half away from Cape Town and offers a wide range of activities.

Our guest house is situated just off Main Road within easy walking distance to the shops, restaurants and sea, where you can watch the whales between June and November. Self catering apartments are at Whale Rock (3km from town and guest house).
Ideal location for shark/whale trips, golfers, walkers, wine estates, mountains, nature reserve and a fantastic “blue flag” beach that stretches for miles.

Sea facing apartments are 3kms from guest house & town centre. All check ins are at our guest house in Albertyn Street. Apartments are identical in size - only vary in decor slightly. Each has a double bedded room, twin bedded room and day bed in lounge. Kitchen equipped with washing machine, oven, fridge, microwave etc. Linen, towels and cooking utensils provided. Bathroom with bath & shower, DSTV (Compact Package), NO wi-fi, squash court on site and shared pool, walkway to rocky beach. Children of ages are welcome at our apartments.

- Follow the N2 from Cape Town onto the R43 towards Hermanus.
- The R43 will become Main Road.
- From the Gateway Shopping on Main Road, on the right hand side.
- At the robot continue straight along Main Road.
- Turn left at the 4th street into Albertyn Street.
- 3rd house on the Right.
- From the opposite direction coming from the Garden Route on the N2.
- Follow the road 10km from Riviersonderend
- Turn left onto the R326
- Continue until T-Junction at Stanford.
- Turn right onto the R43
- Continue all the way through the town of Hermanus to the Police Station.
- 2nd street to the right after the Police Station is Albertyn Street, Northcliff
