The Residence

The Residence exudes a charming air of quiet dignity, with an abundance of bougainvillea blossoms cascading down the terraced gardens.

This is a blissful oasis where guests are treated with personalised service and are invited to make themselves at home.

On arrival at The Residence, you are greeted warmly and graciously before being shown around the guest areas on the ground floor.

There is an immediate awareness of the sophisticated splendour of the interior and an all-pervading atmosphere of total tranquillity. The entrance hall leads through to the sumptuous lounge and sitting room with plush furnishings inviting carefree relaxation for all seasons.

A cosy log fire is lit in the fireplace on chilly days, while doors opening onto the long, spacious veranda offer a cool respite from the warm African sun.

Guests are welcome to take a stroll through the manicured gardens and enjoy a game of tennis or swim a few lengths in the large outdoor pool.

Arrangements can also be made for guests to work out at a nearby gymnasium or play a round of golf on the Houghton Golf Course.

Sky Bar
The Sky Bar on the top floor offers spectacular views over the surrounding suburbs towards the city skyline beyond. What better place to enjoy sundowners while taking in the spectacular African sunsets, or sipping stylish pre-dinner cocktails.

The comfortable relaxation areas invite you to lounge away a few hours, interspersed with socialising in the Jacuzzi or cooling off with a refreshing dip in the swimming pool.

Residence Spa
This is your personal time capsule where you can enjoy traditional spa treatments or simply relax and unwind in the sauna and steam room.

The two treatment rooms are built on a suspended wooden deck with the soft, rippling sounds of water running below it.

Dining
Linger over a sumptuous champagne breakfast in the downstairs breakfast area.
