For those who may be that little bit more energetic you may wish to take a slow jog (or a run) along the' O CONNOR Promenade with its spectacular view of the sea or perhaps you just want to relax and sit on one of the many benches along the shore, ponder life and watch the ships sail by.
For the "shop a holic there is Gateway Theatre Of Shopping, one of the largest shopping malls on the continent of Africa, with its huge array of shops, restaurants, pubs, clubs, cinema's and theatres. The centre even boasts a wave park (The only double wave park in the world), water slides and its own rock climbing wall.
Dive sites abound both up and down the coast for the under-water enthusiast, these include Aliwal shoal, Dolphin reef and various wreck sites, rated amongst the top in South Africa. Those less adventurous may wish to view the dolphins from a boat charter or partake in a sundowner cruise around Durban harbour. Perhaps ride on the Ricksha Bus and tour the city, this is very interesting. You can take the sky car up Moses Mabhida stadium and experience the breath taking panarama of Durban or try your luck at the casino.

Take the Umhlanga - Mount Edgecombe exit of the N2. Head right towards Umhlanga. Take the second Umhlanga exit after you have past under the Millennium overhead bridge. Turn left onto Umhlanga Rocks Drive and go around the second traffic circle heading down Umhlanga rocks drive towards Umhlanga Village. After you have gone around the circle take the first left hand turn into Montague drive. Carry on along Montague Drive and take the third road left into Sandringham Court. We are the third house on the right hand side, No. 8 Sandringham Court, Umhlanga Ridge.
