The Tops Guest House

The Tops Guest House is situated in the centre of the Garden Route, 15 min drive from the airport, one hour away from Mossel Bay, Oudtshoorn, Knysna, hiking trails, canoeing, paragliding (instructors take you tandem-gliding), a game reserve displaying the Big 5 and 20 of South Africa`s most scenic golf courses.

Due to our elevated position, The Tops Guest House has one of the most beautiful views in South Africa. The panorama created by the Indian Ocean and river mouth in the front and the indigenous forest behind, places The Tops Guest House in a most magnificent position.

Accommodation at The Tops Guest House:
We have 4 self-catering studios, each one leading on to a deck through wide sliding doors offering not only a magnificent view, but also facilities for a barbeque. Each studio is ideally suited for a family of 4, or we can accommodate groups, such as paragliders of 8 to 16 on adventure holidays, or business people who would like to get away from it all after work. For them we offer the large reception area on the top deck for recreation, which is equipped with a barbeque and bar. Here one can enjoy a beer and braai in a unique setting.

Each studio is laid out in L-shape, Queen-size bed in the long leg directly next to the bathroom. Television channels - SABC 1,2,3 and Etv. The fully equipped kitchenette, lounge area and sleeper couch take up the rest. The sleeper couches on the first floor have 2 single beds each and the two on the second floor, a double bed each.

Our B&B section consists of 4 en-suite rooms which open on to wooden balcony deck where a sumptuous breakfast can be enjoyed.

There is a bag lift to take your luggage to your room. All en-suite rooms have sea-views. Having breakfast on the balcony surrounded by wonderful bird songs of the many species of birds, is a nature lover`s experience.

Room 2: Family Room Double bed and single bed, on-suite (shower), Bar fridge, Kettle, Fan, Heater, Balcony, television SABC, DSTV on request, desk and beautiful view.

Room 3: Double room Double bed, on-suite, bath and shower in room, Bar fridge, Microwave, Kettle, Fan, Heater, Balcony, television SABC, DSTV on request, beautiful view.

Room 4: Budget Room Double bed, on-suite (shower), Bar fridge, Kettle, Fan, Heater, Balcony, no television, beautiful view.
