Accommodation at The Lodge:
We have 11 rooms which vary from single, double and family rooms and four fully Self catering cottages, which can accommodate from 2 to 6 persons per cottage.
All our rooms are bathroom-en-suite are creative each room with a unique style and theme, smoking or non-smoking rooms with air cons or fans and heaters, televisions with 66 HD DSTV channels, fridges and tea/coffee facilities with services like baby sitting, laundry, room service and safe parking with a security guard from 6pm to 6am.
We have a camping area for 4 x 4, caravans and tents with full ablutions, private braais and power points.

- We have a full A-la-Carte Restaurant with a fireplace for the colder days for breakfasts, lunches, light meals and/or dinners and we cater for Halaal and we have a fully licensed bar.
- We have 1 short and 1 longer hiking trails for the more adventurous nature accompanied by a willing friendly and experienced hiker our husky Balto, whos always ready for a jog, hike or a swim.
- Children are more than welcome in our establishment with camping cots available and a menu especially for the kids.
- We have the following activities available for children - a children`s play park; nine-hole putt-putt course;and a pool table.
- We have braai facilities, two lapas for small intimate parties around our swimming pool, a boma for the cozy get together, 9 hole PuttPutt course and a play park for the toddlers, pool table for the big boys and a picnic spot for the romantics.

Trips into Venda and neighboring attractions like the Hendrik Verwoerd Tunnels, the big tree, Lake Fundudzi, the Holy Forest, Dzata Ruins, Phiphidi waterfalls, and much more, can be arranged with a qualified guide.

The Berg Cottage is a fully self-catering cottage which offers two bedrooms, a double bed in one room and two single beds in the other. This cottage has two en-suite bathrooms, a living area, fully equipped kitchen, and a private veranda with a braai stand. The living area as well as each room have a TV with Hotel DStv.
The Bosbok Honeymoon Suite is our executive honeymoon suite which offers one bedroom with a king size bed. This suite has one bathroom with a large corner bath, a fully equipped kitchen, a living area as well as a private veranda with a braai stand. The Bosbok Honeymoon Suite has a TV with Hotel DStv in the bedroom and living area.
The Eagle Cottage is equipped for semi self-catering and offers an open-plan bedroom with kitchen (no living area). The bedroom offers a double bed as well as a bunker bed (single on top and double on the bottom). This cottage has one bathroom. The Eagle Cottage has a TV with Hotel DStv.
The Guest Room Cottage is fully equipped for self-catering and offers an open-plan bedroom with kitchen (no living area). This cottage has a double bed as well as two single beds. This cottage has one bathroom and a private veranda with a braai stand. The Guest Room Cottage also has a TV with Hotel DStv.
The JP Room is equipped for semi self-catering and offers one bedroom with one double bed and one single bed. This room has a bathroom and offers a TV with Hotel DStv.
The Leopard Cottage is fully equipped for self-catering and offers two bedrooms, a double bed in the one room and two single beds in the other. This room has two bathrooms, a kitchen, a living area, and a private veranda with a braai stand. The living area as well as the two rooms have TV with Hotel DStv.
The Loerie Cottage is equipped for semi self-catering and offers an open-plan bedroom with kitchen (no living area). The bedroom has two single beds as well as a bunker bed (single on top and double on the bottom). This cottage offers a TV with Hotel DStv.
Room 1 is a standard unit and ideal as a honeymoon suite. This room offers one bedroom with a king size bed and one bathroom with no self-catering facilities.
Room 2 is a standard two-bedroom unit which offers a main bedroom with a double bed as well as a second bedroom with two single beds. This unit has one bathroom only.
Room 3 is a standard double unit which offers one bedroom with a double bed and one bathroom.
Room 4 is a standard unit which offers one bedroom with a double bed as well as a single bed. This unit has one bathroom.
Room 5 is a standard double unit which offers one bedroom with a double bed and one bathroom.
Room 6 is as standard family unit, ideal for a family. This unit has one bedroom with a single and double bed with one bathroom to share.
Room 7 is a standard unit, perfect for a family. This unit offers one bedroom with a double bed and two single beds and has a bathroom to share
Room 8 is a standard double unit which offers one bedroom with a double bed and one bathroom.
Room 9 is a standard unit which offers one bedroom with a double bed. This unit offers two bathrooms.
Room 10 is a standard two-bedroom unit which offers a main bedroom with a double bed as well as a bunker bed (single on top and single on the bottom). There is a second bedroom which has two single beds. Each room has a TV with Hotel DStv. This room offers one bathroom to share.
The Tarentaal Cottage offers two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Each bedroom has a double bed. This cottage also has a fully equipped kitchen, a living area and a private veranda with a braai stand. The living area as well as both bedrooms have TV with Hotel DStv.

We require a 50% deposit from guests to secure a reservation. CANCELLATIONS
• No show or early departure forfeits 100% of deposit or total stay. LESS THAN 7 DAYS - NO REFUNDS 0 %
• Cancellations 14 days or less prior forfeit 100% of deposit or total stay.
• Cancellations 15 to 59 days prior forfeit 50% of deposit or total stay.
• Cancellations more than 60 days prior will incur a 15% administration fee to cover banking and handling charges.
• Please note that we do consider a cancellation on merit, if it is truly beyond the guests’ control, and will charge accordingly.
CHECK-IN/OUT TIMES
• Check-in: from 14h00
• Check-out: 10h00 - late check-outs are only possible if rooms are empty the following day. You are welcome to arrange with reception, we can hold your luggage until you are ready to depart.
• After-hours services such as removing bags and late check-outs, without prior arrangement, will incur additional charges starting from 10:00 am.
• Late arrivals: To be arranged with management.
• Early arrivals: Early check-in is only possible if the room is ready for occupation. If not, you are welcome to leave your luggage at the lodge reception while you go out and explore and have a welcome drink in our bar.
PAYMENTS TO THIRD PARTIES
We do not pay third parties for any other services on your behalf. If monies are deposited into our account incorrectly, we do not refund until cleared with our bank and will only refund directly into the original payer’ account less any banking and transaction fees.
ACCEPTED MEANS OF PAYMENT
We accept MasterCard, Visa credit, American Express and Diners Club/debit cards and cash.
SMOKING POLICY
Smoking is not permitted in the rooms or the manor house, but ashtrays are provided on the private patios
If guests are found smoking in the rooms, an additional fine will be applied accordingly.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Guests agree on behalf of themselves and the members of their parties that neither the establishment, its owners, employees nor agents shall be responsible for any injury or death of any person or the loss or destruction of or damage to any property upon the premises, whether arising from fire, theft or any cause and by whomsoever caused or arising from the negligence (gross or otherwise) or wrongful act of any person in the employment of the guesthouse.
Any damage resulting from guests’ misconduct or negligence to the property and its facilities, including keys, TV, DSTV and Aircon remotes, linens, towels, mirrors, etc., will be the responsibility of the guests. Payment for any damages must be made in full.
No slathering of animals on the premises Amenities and bags cannot be of loaded a week ahead of time. You can bring it when you arrive.
Management reserves the right to request your departure from the premises due to disregard for noise levels, inappropriate behaviour, or similar disturbances such as music and more. Guests will not be eligible for a refund for the remaining duration of their stay. Please be aware that failure to adhere to this regulation will result in an additional fine of R500.00 extra.
Kindly note that playing music is strictly prohibited.

Travelling from Pietersburg (Polokwane) to Louis Trichardt (Makhado) on the N1, pass Louis Trichardt town continuing on the N1 up the mountain towards Messina (Mussina).
+- 8,4 kms past Louis Trichardt town you will find the Mountain Inn Hotel on your right hand side.
+- 300 metres past the Mountain Inn Hotel you will find the Bluegumsport Road on your left.
Turn left down this road and we are situated 1,6 kms down the Bluegumsport Road on your right hand side.
Children under the age of 6 who sleep in the same bed as their parents do not incur an additional charge.
