The View Swellendam B&B

The View Swellendam B&B is located in one of the best parts of Swellendam, with truly uninterrupted views up into the majestic Langeberg mountain range, but only a short walk to the heart of our beautiful town with its numerous historical buildings and museums, as well as fine restaurants to suit all tastes.

The View B&B is a newly and lovingly renovated large family home, set in a lush, established garden, inviting guests to enjoy quiet relaxation and listening to bird song. In a separate area of our garden is a large sparkling pool where guests can cool during our long hot summers. Our pool has a water seat which guests can sit on, enjoying a drink whilst gazing up into the mountains.

There is large guest lounge and dining area for breakfast. The lounge opens up onto a deck with 180- degree views over town, the mountains and where guests can witness the most spectacular sunsets.

We have 4 beautifully appointed en suite rooms with great mountain views. The courtyard suite has French doors opening onto a private courtyard garden. The bathroom also opens up onto the garden.

The View is a family owned and run Guest House, where every effort will be made to ensure our guests feel totally at home in beautiful, comfortable surroundings. There is off- road open parking.

Accommodation at The View Swellendam B&B:
Courtyard
This is a beautiful room, with French doors opening onto a private garden courtyard. Both bedroom and garden look up into the majestic Langeberg mountain range. The bathroom is large and has a bath, shower with rain shower head, basin, bidet and toilet. The bathroom also opens to the private courtyard garden. The room configuration is either a comfy King-sized bed, or two single beds.

Misty Peak
Misty Peak is luxuriously furnished en suite room that can either have a king-sized bed or two single beds. It has great views of the mountains. The bathroom has a shower with rain head, toilet and basin.

Clock Peaks
Clock Peaks is a beautifully appointed room with a Queen sized bed where guests can lie on the bed and gaze into the mountains. The en suite bathroom provides a shower with rain head, toilet and basin.

Langeberg
Langeberg is a beautiful room with either a king sized bed or two single beds, with views up into the mountains. The en suite bathroom provides a shower with rain head, toilet and basin.

All four rooms include free Wifi, Flat screen satellite televisions with individual DStv, a small fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary Port and hairdryer.
