The Vineyard Country House in Montagu is set on a working grape and apricot smallholding on historic Long Street, within walking distance of the monuments, restaurants and shops. The Vineyard offers our guests a beautiful sanctuary nestled at the foot of the magnificent Langeberg
Mountain range.
The Vineyard Country House has 4 beautifully decorated bedrooms, all en-suite, with French doors leading to private patios with views over the vineyard and orchard and a stones throw away from our 14 metre lap pool set in the vineyards.
We offer King size or Twin Beds with fans, heaters and hair dryers. French press coffee plungers with freshly ground coffee, a selection of teas and a a honesty bar stocked with snacks and drinks.
We serve healthy country breakfasts in our breakfast room or outside on our patio. Dinners are also available on requests.
We have also installed LCD TVs and DVD players in all the rooms and offer you a selection of classic and modern movies for your viewing pleasure. A DSTV selected bouquet service is also available.
Manicures, pedicures and massages are available on request and for the more energetic guests we have a few bicycles available to explore Montagu and the surrounding areas.
At the end of the day you may want to join us for dinner in front of our fire place or on the patio overlooking the fountain. You may also prefer to simply sip a glass of our excellent local wine with a selection of tapas in a comfortable chair overlooking our vineyard and orchards.
We offer an internet service, a laundry service and a shuttle service to and from Cape Town and are happy to arrange an outing to places of interest in and around Montagu. Secure parking for your car is available and safety deposit boxes have been installed in all the rooms for your convenience.
We have a lap pool set in the vineyards and you can take long leisurely walks in the vineyards and olive grove.
Directions from Cape Town:
Take N1 towards Worcester, then take second turnoff to Worcester/Robertson . Drive through Worcester and at second strop street turn left. Drive for 500m and turn right at sign to Robertson on the R62 and the road will lead you straight into Montagu on Long Street. The Vineyard Country House is on the corner of Church and Long Street, number 42. Turn right when you get to corner of Church Street and the entrance/parking is on your left.

When you drive in from R62 from Barrydale , you will enter Montagu on Long Street and The Vineyard Country House is on your left, number 42. Turn left into Church street and the entrance/parking is on your left.
