Thirsty Falls Guest Farm is an organic working farm, using Permaculture principles with diverse growing of trees and herbs. With the cliffs of the Magaliesberg as a backdrop, bushveld , beautiful garden setting and 360 degree panoramic views, tranquillity reigns.
Bird life is abundant and there has been a siting of eagles possibly starting to nest in the cliffs. Small game spotting, buck, warthog and porcupine comes at the most unexpected moments. Not to be missed are the beautiful sunsets and star studded night skies, with resounding calls from the baboon, cry of the jackal and the hoot of the owl.
As hosts, we enjoy personal hospitality for our guests and the sharing of this beautiful environment. Your comfort and relaxation are our priority! Fresh bakes and seasonally grown local produce are available for purchase.
Thirsty Falls Guest Farm nestles against the southern slopes of the Magaliesberg Mountains just off the R24, between the R24, between Magaliesburg and Rustenburg.
We offer 3 very comfortable, spacious guest cottages, tastefully decorated in `home from home` self-catering accommodation, with a high standard of cleanliness and care taken.
Each cottage is built with face brick, large sliding doors and windows, privately situated one from the other, amidst the natural bush.
There is a swimming pool with lapa area in a beautiful garden setting. A TV, pool table and games are provided in a leisure lounge.
Nature walks can be enjoyed on the farm and fields and hiking on the slope surrounds.
