Bergvlei Bergvlei Cottage is a cosy, comfortable self-catering garden cottage with a stunning view overlooking Bell Park Dam to the impressive Cathkin range of the Drakensberg Mountains. It has a large main bedroom with bath, shower over bath, toilet and basin en-suite. The mezzanine floor has a double and two single beds on either side of the access staircase and is serviced by a second bathroom downstairs consisting of a shower, toilet and basin.
An open plan lounge / sunken dining room area leads onto a fully equipped kitchenette which has a stove, fridge, deep freeze and microwave and a nook in the garden has a built braai for outdoor cooking. There is a HiFi and full DSTV.
The cottage is reasonably close to the main house so security is excellent but has been tastefully screened for perfect privacy in its own garden area. Sleeps 6 in 1 double en suite and a double and 2 singles on the mezzanine.
Bahati Tree Lodge is a unique 4-sleeper upmarket tree house with an expansive view over the Bell Park Dam to the mountains beyond with a lovely outdoor braai area and fire-pit. Both bedrooms in Bahati are en-suite with the upstairs having a spa bath as well as a shower and the downstairs room a walk-in shower with a view across the dam. Bahatis living plan is open including the kitchen which leads out onto a full-length patio. Bahati has no TV.

From N3 (Johannesburg) exit at Ladysmith/Bergville offramp. Proceed to Bergville (R616).
Turn left at T-junction onto R74. Proceed to Winterton. Turn right onto R600 (opposite Engen garage). *Proceed 13km to cross roads.
Proceed straight over past Thokozisa. Proceed 5km and turn Right at sign Cayley/Bell Park Dam(D53).
Proceed 2km over bridge and turn Right at sign Cayley(D277). Proceed 1km over bridge and turn left at sign Cayley(D184). Proceed 3.5km past Meadowsweet Herb Farm and turn left at sign Treks, Trips & Trails/Bergvlei.
From N3 (Durban) exit at offramp Bergville/Colenso (R74). Proceed left to Winterton. Turn left onto R600 (opposite Engen garage) and follow directions as from * above.
