Malabar Villa is the main part of the establishment, which comprises of one Master Suite and two Double Delux units connected to the villa on wooden walkways through the forest.
Breakfast is served on the pool deck overlooking the magnificent valley below. There is a beautiful lounge, with a fire place as well as a bar.
Tomba Villa, an exact replica of Malabar is connected to Malabar Villa by means of a wooden walkway meandering through the forest. It comprises of one Master Suite, one Double Delux and one Twin Delux. Also, with a large swimming pool and deck, Tomba Villa is also available for exclusive use. Perfect for a family or group of friends who want completely private and luxurious experience.
Just off the wooden walkway that links Malabar and Tomba is our boma, which can be pre booked for special African dinners under the stars.
Our Forest Spa offers massage & wellness treatments by a local therapist, and can also be booked out for a two hour session per couple and spa platters can be pre-arranged.
A local drumming band can also be pre-booked either for entertainment in the boma, or on the pool deck of either Malabar or Tomba Villa`s.
Dinner, as well as snack platters and picnic baskets can be pre-booked with the Manager on site.

The twin delux is located at the Tomba Villa .It is ideal for children traveling with their parents and features two three quarter beds.

Directions from Cape Town: Trogon House is situated about 150 km from Mossel Bay and about 50 km from Knysna. The location is The Crags, which is 16 km east from Plettenberg Bay.
- Simply take the N2, pass Knysna, pass Plettenberg Bay and continue past Keurboomstrand to The Crags.
- You will notice a Monkeyland sign on the N2, near the BP Garage (the Garage is also known as the Garden Route Superrette).
- Take the turn-off (on the right) at this BP Garage and follow the Monkeyland signs for a further 2km. The entrance to Trogon House is situated in the car park of Monkeyland.
- The road to Trogon House is indicated with a sign marked "private road - strictly no entry". Follow the short dirt road for 1.4km and you will see the signs to Trogon House.
