Tsitsikamma Lodge and Spa is situated on the N2 in the heart of the Tsitsikamma, along the Garden Route, Eastern Cape. The closest town is Storms River Village.
You’ll find rest and relaxation at Tsitsikamma Lodge. Cosy free-standing log cabins provide sanctuary in a peaceful forest-type setting.
Each cabin is fitted with a spa bath. Although the cabins are not self-catering, each also has access to private braai facilities. Cutlery and crockery, as well as braai packs, can be arranged in advance of your stay. Cabin sizes vary to suit both couples and families. The honeymoon cabins, with fireplace, are especially popular. The cosy gardenette cabins are ideal for romantic couples getaways, while the larger luxury and garden cabins sleep families.
The restaurant is easy to find, and, together with the lapa, make a beautiful venue for small weddings or other special events. Dining at Tsitsikamma Lodge is generous and homely.
Other amenities include a swimming pool and spa.
The conference room can accommodate small- to medium-sized groups.
There is also plenty adventure to be had at Tsitsikamma Lodge. The lodge is well-known for the Striptease Hiking Trail – a cheeky, but advanced, hiking trail where you may lose a clothing item or two. For those who prefer lighter exercise, a quiet walk in the gardens will leave you feeling refreshed.
The wider Tsitsikamma region is also known for being a hub of activity. Zipline in the treetops, walk the suspension bridge in the Tsitsikamma National Park, or visit one of the many nature parks – Birds of Eden and Monkeyland are popular choices. The “Big Tree” is only a short distance from Tsitsikamma Lodge.

Garden cabins are equipped with double bed, single bed (downstairs), twin beds (upstairs), oil heater, ceiling fan, safety deposit box, mini fridge, tea and coffee station, TV, en-suite bathroom with spa bath and shower.
Gardenette cabins are equipped with double bed, oil heater, ceiling fan, safety deposit box, mini fridge, tea and coffee station, TV, open plan bathroom with spa bath and shower.
Honeymoon cabins are equipped with queen size bed, lounge with fireplace, oil heater, ceiling fan, safety deposit box, mini fridge, tea and coffee station, TV, en-suite bathroom with spa bath and shower.
Luxury cabins are equipped with double bed (upstairs), single bed (downstairs), lounge with fireplace, oil heater, ceiling fan, safety deposit box, mini fridge, tea and coffee station, TV, en-suite bathroom with spa bath and shower.
If a guest wishes to cancel his/her reservation, he/she must do so as soon as reasonably possible. A “no show” will result in a 100% cancellation fee.
No verbal cancellations will be accepted. All cancellations must be done in writing and no exceptions in this regard will be allowed.
A cancellation fee of 100% of the total booking will be charged if a guest cancels his/her reservation less than 48 hours prior to arrival.
A cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking will be charged if a guest cancels his/her reservation 14 days prior to arrival.
A cancellation fee of 30% of the total booking will be charged if a guest cancels his/her reservation 30 days prior to arrival.
The above cancellation penalties will also apply should there be a reduction in room numbers.
0 - 5 years old: accommodation and meals FREE of charge (per child) when sharing with adult(s).
6 - 12 years old: pay an extra person supplement fee (per child) when sharing with adult(s), and meals are charged at 50% discount.
13 - 18 years old: pay an extra person supplement (per child) when sharing with adult(s), and full price for meals.
When a child 13 - 18 years old is sharing with one adult; the per person sharing rate will be applicable for both persons.
Should children 13 - 18 years old require their own room, the single or per person sharing rate will be applicable.
