Umtamvuna View Cabanas

Umtamvuna View Cabanas is located in the seaside holiday town of Port Edward. This beautiful destination has magnificent views of the Umtamvuna River and surrounding Mountain which borders the Eastern Cape and Kwa Zulu Natal. The river is home to Watersport activities and River Boat Cruises.

An abundance of Bird life can be seen from the comfort of your Cabana veranda or while relaxing in the pool. On occasion, 2 wild buck can be seen grazing or passing through the property. There is also a troop of Monkeys that visits on a regular basis.

Its a short drive to the many attractions available in the area. The Wild Coast sun is a mere 8 km from your Cabana and has a lot to offer apart from the gambling. There is a variety of activities and a fabulous area for the children, (and some adults too); which will keep the family busy for hours. Go for an organized walk on the Wild Coast Sun Beach at low tide where you can see fossilized trees thousands of years old.

Some other attractions nearby features walking trails from the Nature reserve; a botanical paradise with truly spectacular scenery creates some of the most beautiful and interesting trails on the KZN Coast. Rare Trees and endemic species that can be found nowhere else, as well as buck, monkeys, baboons and abundant bird life.

There is coffee farm tours as well as coffee tasting at Beaver Creek Coffee farm, where delicious meals and a range of freshly roasted coffee can be enjoyed all day.

Whether you are a Mountain Bike enthusiast, a trail runner or just a nature lover; the magnificent views at Clearwater Trails will not disappoint you. As this area is known as the golf coast there are 9 x 18 hole courses and 2 x 9 hole courses, each offering a variety of Golfing challenges. There are 4 wonderful courses in the immediate area, the nearest being the international acclaimed 18 hole course at The Wild Coast Sun.

Port Edward has an excellent 9 hole course, Southbroom a scenic 18 hole course, San Lameer a Championship 18 holes and Margate a quiet 18 holes.
Other attractions include Horse and pony rides, The Riverbend Croc farm, Deep Sea fishing charters are also available. Golden beaches to walk along and soaking up the sunshine.

This unit has an open plan bedroom with an en suite bathroom consisting of a shower, toilet and washbasin. Cabana 1 offers a full kitchen, including stove, oven, Microwave and fridge and Dishwasher. A large lounge suite offers comfort to guests with a view overlooking the sparkling swimming pool and deck. A dining table and sofa is placed on the veranda which allows for spectacular views of the Umtamvuna mountains and the river.

Cabana 2 sleeps 2
There is an open plan bedroom with an en suite bathroom consisting of a shower, toilet and washbasin 2 consists of full kitchen, including stove, oven, Microwave, dishwasher and fridge. There is also a children room which has a bunk bed with its own bathroom en suite with shower, toilet and washbasin consists of full kitchen, including stove, oven, Microwave, dishwasher and fridge. A large lounge suite offers comfort to guests with a view overlooking the sparkling swimming pool and deck. A dining table is available on the veranda which allows for spectacular views of the Umtamvuna mountains and the river.
