While staying with us, youll experience a lifestyle many people dream of; jackals calling in the distance as you sit around a fire at night, afternoons spent watching giraffes from your deck as they browse from knob thorn trees in the garden, and mornings spent listening to a dawn chorus of bush veld birds as you embark on your own private game drive.
The reserve is home to healthy populations of plains game, with regular sightings of our resident leopards. The absence of elephants, buffalos, lions and rhinos mean you can explore the reserves wilderness area on foot, by bike or on horseback or simply watch them from the pool deck as they saunter by.
We will help you explore further afield too, with excursions into the Kruger National Park, visits to the Blyde River Canyon and cultural, wildlife and adventure activities that will introduce you to the area and the people at the warm heart of our community.

Note that this room can combine with a Private Deluxe Room to form a family unit on request.
Private Deluxe Room
This is a detached room overlooking the bush. It can be combined with the First Floor Deluxe Room to form a family unit.
Deluxe Room
Our two deluxe rooms overlook the bush. Stocked with locally sourced Africology toiletries, towels and bath gowns, your privacy and comfort will be assured. Note that these two rooms can be joined to create a family unit, which is set up a little differently.
Deluxe Cottage
The fully-detached deluxe cottage is set in our gardens, overlooking the bush. Stocked with locally sourced Africology toiletries, towels and bath gowns, your privacy and comfort will be assured.
Private Villa
The villa has two en-suite rooms and an outside bath. In addition, there is a relaxing lounge, deck, boma (entertainment area) and plunge pool exclusively for your enjoyment. Whats more, the main lodge is in easy walking distance of the villa. This means you can also make use of our large pool and elevated viewing deck while enjoying the wildlife on your doorstep.
