Area Info:

St Lucia was proclaimed as a world heritage site in 1999 by Unesco, St Lucia is South Africa’s very first world heritage site, and for good reason. The abundance of wildlife and natural beauty is incredible. To this very day, Hippos can still be witnessed wandering down the streets at night in search of grass. Hippos are predominantly known as the most aggressive and contribute to the most deaths in Africa however in this very small town they seem to have become accustomed to being photographed and watched by numerous visitors on a daily basis.
