White House Lodge

White House Lodge sits among ten hectares of mountain top with beautiful vistas of the farmlands and indigenous sour bushveld trees and shrubs surrounding the lodge.

The White River areas climate is renowned as one of the most congenial in South Africa, and ensures you of a relaxed time - with the right combination of luxury indoor and outdoor living with a lovely rock pool in which to keep cool.

The Lodge is situated just 5 km from the small town of White River, 8 km from the new Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport and you can reach White Rivers 18 hole Championship Golf-course in ten minutes.

A mere 30 minutes drive taking you into the world renowned Kruger National Park and in the opposite direction you`ll find the escarpment at 1400 m altitude where you will find Blyde River Canyon, Gods Window and Pilgrims Rest.

It is a 20 minute journey to Nelspruit, the provincial capital city with all modern amenities including a casino. The Kingdom of Swaziland is only an hours drive away, and a further hour can see you in Maputo, the capital city of Mozambique.

The surrounding area provides a variety of sporting and leisure activities like trout fishing up on the escarpment and helicopter trips over the main landscape landmarks.

Many famous artists have made their home in the area, and high class crafts, curios and artifacts are available.

Accommodation at White House Lodge:
White House Lodge has six en-suite rooms, one luxury cottage and one two bedroom self catering cottage.

All with television, while the public facilities include a huge swimming pool with Lapa and Boma, and two terraces for relaxing, while inside our dining room is complemented by a lounge and a bar.

Sumptuous evening meals are provided, on request, and we pride ourselves on our German and Turkish specialities, together with a selection of South African wines.
