We undertake to provide our guests with peaceful surroundings and complete privacy and, for this reason, children and pets and not permitted.
The Lodge consists of an accommodation wing, a dining room which opens onto an extensive terrace, a lounge with private library and a well-stocked wine cellar.
A Koi pond, rim-flow pool, rose garden and landscaped indigenous garden complete the picture.
Accommodation is offered on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis or the Lodge can be booked in its entirety for private functions.
Smoking is not permitted in the Rooms, Bar, Guest Lounge or Dining Room.

Four exquisite suites are designed to maximise the views from the Lodge and have been individually decorated to exceptional standards in rich textures, colours and fabrics which reflect the extraordinary beauty of the surroundings.
Original art works and Persian carpets, which cover the Cherry wood floors, have been carefully selected for each suite.
Suites have sumptuous en-suite bathrooms with showers and slipper or spa baths, separate toilets, individual climate control, real log fireplaces and oil heaters.
Television with DSTV is standard, as are hair driers, kettles, complimentary tea and coffee, a well-stocked bar fridge, digital safe and a writing pad and pen.
Creature comforts include Egyptian cotton linen on the beds, luxurious cotton bathrobes and towels and slippers.

* Take N12 towards Johannesburg
* Then the N3 to Durban, past Heidelberg, Villiers and Warden.
* Bypass Harrysmith
* At Harrismith glide off and pass Harrismith Inn on the LHS
* Straight to four way stop, and straight over this.
* Turn left to Phutaditjaba/QwaQwa/Bergville - R712/R74.
* Continue straight, past turn off to Bergville/Oliviershoek. Follow R712.
* Approx 10 km from this point you turn left onto the S20 to Qwantani.
* Travel for 4.7 km on dirt road
* Turn left and travel for 200m on tar road
* Turn right and travel for 11.3km on tar road
* Turn left at the Amanzi Amakhulu / Wild Horses Lodge sign and travel 400m to the Gate.
* Pass through the gate and travel a final 1.9 km to the Lodge
From Durban International Airport : Durban
* Exit Durban International and follow the road markers to the N2 North.
* Travel on the N2 North towards Durban.
* At the Multi-level interchange, turn left onto the N3 and follow the road towards Johannesburg.
* At Harrismith glide off and pass Harrismith Inn on the LHS
* Straight to four way stop, and straight over this.
* Turn left to Phutaditjaba/QwaQwa/Bergville - R712/R74.
* Continue straight, past turn off to Bergville/Oliviershoek. Follow R712.
