Situated in Marloth Park, Wildgoose Lodge is located in a game reserve along the Crocodile River, on the border of Kruger National Park.
The lodge features an outdoor plunge pool and an enclosed BBQ and entertainment area, overlooking the bush. It is a very well equipped self-catering lodge. There are two fully en suited bedrooms and a huge loft bedroom. It is furnished in trendy high end furniture and decor details. Little details, such as a Nespresso coffee machine, have also been included. The whole lodge is fully air conditioned and the authentic African thatch roof will ensure that both Summer and Winter nights are pleasant.
Guests have access to a balcony that affords you an unspoilt view of the African bush and also the Kruger National Park in the distance. Amazing sunsets can also be viewed from this balcony. Enjoy a barbecue in the boma, a traditional South African enclosure, or take a guided bush walk or sunset drive along the river.
Animals such as zebra and kudu roam freely in Marloth Park, while the Big 5 can be viewed in the Kruger National Park. The Crocodile Bridge gate is 18 km from the lodge. Komatipoort is 24 km away, while Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport is 101 km from the property. We also offer a range of tours, which can be organised through the lodge manager.

All bedrooms have full en suites and they are fully air conditioned. Linen of the best quality is used so as to ensure a comfortable and peaceful sleep for all guests. Rooms are luxuriously decorated in a style that is well suited to the lodge`s African bush surroundings.
In addition to this, there is also a huge loft bedroom that will comfortably cater for the largest of families.

We offer a range of guided tours and day trips. These include tours to the Matsamo Cultural Village at the Swaziland border, a full day trip to God`s Window and the lookout point of the Blyde River Canyon, Safari Game Drives into the Kruger National Park and a Sunset Drive along the Crocodile River.
Matsamo Cultural Village - Take a chauffeured trip to this functioning Swazi village right on the Swaziland border. Your personal guide will show you around and explain what life was like in the past and how they live today. You will also be treated to a cultural show of singing and dancing, and you will enjoy a buffet lunch of local cuisine. This tour costs R895 per person.
God`s Window and The Blyde River Canyon - This full day trip will begin straight after breakfast as you head to the first stop which is Harrie`s Pancakes in Graskop (rumoured to be the best pancakes in the world), then onto God`s Window and the lookout point where you can take in the mighty Blyde River Canyon. This is the third largest canyon in the world and the largest green canyon. This trip costs R1290 per person.
Kruger National Park - A full day game drive in, either in an open game viewing vehicle, or in a double cab vehicle. This tour starts just before sunrise and will return to the lodge in the afternoon. A packed breakfast is included and stops are made at rest camps for breakfast and lunch. This drive costs R1000 per person.
Sun downers along the Crocodile River - This guided tour takes you to the river to view the animals as they make their way to the water at the end of the day. You will be able to see directly into the Kruger National Park while enjoying sun downers on the river bank. This tour costs R350 per person and includes two sun downer drinks per person.
