Trees & Wood
Please do NOT break branches off or strip bark from the tree trunks. Do NOT collect any wood from the area or break wood up for fires. Bring your own firewood or purchase your bundles from reception.
Fires
Fires are one of the main enemies of the area due to the warm dry environment of Namibia. ONLY make fires in the barbeque facilities provided at each accommodation unit or at the Lapa. Be aware of the hazard of bushfires at all times - even with the discarding of cigarette butts, use the provided ashtrays.
Fire Procedures
In the event of a fire in an accommodation unit, the central communal area or the surrounding area, evacuate the are immediately and gather at the main reception parking area. Please report all fires or suspicion of a potential fire to reception - better safe than sorry. Each accommodation unit is supplied with a handheld extinguisher - do NOT attempt to use this extinguisher on bushfires that have already taken hold - report these instances to reception without delay.
Walking Trail
It is safe to walk freely on the premises provided that contact with wild animals, snakes, scorpions and other reptiles is avoided. Should you encounter such an animal or reptile, stand still or back-of slowly - avoid sudden movements and noise. Most times the animal is more scared than you and and attacks and bites are normally a result of intended self-defense.

The sparkling swimming pool is the focal point of the central communal area. The pool is only available to paying guests and is used at ones own risk. Children must be under the supervision of a responsible adult at all times.
Pets
Due to the nature of the surroundings and wild animals roaming in the camp, NO PETS will be allowed!
Attractions:
Joes Beer House
Similar to Carnivore`s in Nairobi, Joe`s Beer House is a popular tourist spot where you can indulge in a game-meat-oriented evening meal (such as oryx, kudu, springbok, crocodile, zebra, eland) - with prolonged drinking until early in the morning.
