Wyndford Holiday Farm is the perfect venue for your next holiday or weekend getaway. Just 8km from Fouriesburg (on the Lesotho border), popular draw cards such as Clarens, Golden Gate National Park, Ficksburg and Rosendal are an easy, but breath-taking, drive away. For those travelling to Lesothos Katse Dam or Afriski, Wyndford is the ideal stop-over.
Offering full-board accommodation for up to 70 guests, Wyndford has a large selection and configuration of rooms, suites, rondavels and chalets that are ideal for a family break, club event or just a private escape into the mountains.
On-site there are hiking trails, MTB routes, horse riding, tennis, bowls, swimming pool, volley ball, mini-golf, river tubing, zip-line, abseiling and (for the not so active) plenty of secluded spots in the gardens to just curl up and relax.
Our games room offers table tennis, pool, snooker and table soccer. Little ones will love the farmyard with its rabbits, ducks, geese, sheep, piggies, emus, horses and cows. Led pony rides are offered to future cowboys every morning.
We are not licensed and encourage you to bring your own drinks. Ice, water, mixers, cold drinks and glasses are available and guests have use of a large fridge in the dining room for their beverages.
The large guest lounge with its homely atmosphere, library, games selection, fireplace and large television is the perfect after dinner venue to relax with new friends or old acquaintances.

Wyndford has a large selection and configuration of rooms, suites, rondavels and chalets that are ideal for families or couples that can sleep between 2 and 5 guests in double and / or single beds with bunks and children's beds for the kids. All rooms are en-suite and have heating, include towels and linen as well as complimentary toiletries.
With twin beds and washbasin they are warmed in winter with oil heaters. The shared ablutions are outside and consist of a shower and separate toilet or bathroom with toilet.
These spacious chalets have 2 rooms room. One has a king bed and twin beds in the second room, and a sleeper couch, white linen, and underfloor heating, are both en-suite with either bath or shower, downstairs is a large lounge area with a fireplace.
Our spacious luxury two sleeper room has a king-size bed, en-suite with a shower and bath. Comfy chairs, tea, and coffee station with homemade biscuits, along with a small fridge make it the perfect place to be quiet or watch the DStv on TV.
One of the original large rondavels on the farm, this cottage is situated close to all the main facilities comfortably furnished with Queen bed, white linen and kilim rug. This spacious unit with its own lounge is the perfect place to feel part of farm life.
These rooms are made for families! A spacious double bedded room with crisp white linen with a small adjacent child’s bedroom containing a double bunk and little single bed. A large en-suite bathroom with shower and underfloor heating.
Four sleepers inter-leading unit, two separate rooms one room has a king bed (can be converted) and the second room has two single beds, an en-suite bathroom off one room. Carports/ parking nearby and Gardens with seating.
Our family rondavels have a king bed and a child’s bunk bed and an en-suite bathroom. As original rondavels, they have modern en-suite bathrooms with a shower. Fresh spring water in the rooms and mornings.
One of the original sandstone rondavels and cloaked in ivy, this room is ideal for a small family or three teenage guests with parents in a nearby room. It comes with three single beds but can be transformed to a King and a single on request.
Standard two sleeper room with a king bed, en-suite bathroom. Under thatch for cool summers and set among the beautiful gardens these offer comfort and value.

DIRECTIONS TO WYNDFORD FROM JOHANNESBURG VIA WARDEN:
Take the N3 towards Durban. Just past WARDEN, turn to BETHLEHEM on the R714 and go straight to BETHLEHEM. In BETHLEHEM, go through the traffic light at the Wimpy and then turn right at the four-way stop street. Cross 10 streets and turn left into Commissioner St (at the Kentucky Fried Chicken). After 47 km you will reach the FOURIESBURG turn-off. By-pass this turn-off and 3 km further on, turn left along the CLARENS road. After approximately 300 meters along the CLARENS road turn right onto the CALEDONSPOORT road. WYNDFORD is approximately 8 km further. Wyndford is well sign-posted from just before you reach the Clarens road.
DIRECTIONS TO WYNDFORD FROM JOHANNESBURG VIA VILLIERS:
Take the N3 to Durban, pass the Engen and go across the Vaal River. Then turn to VILLIERS/FRANKFORT just before the Villiers Tollgate. Before Frankfort, there is a T-junction - turn right & then just past Frankfort cross the Wilge River Bridge & turn left at Reitz/Tweeling turn off. Bypass TWEELING & REITZ and then into BETHLEHEM. In Bethlehem, go through the traffic light at the Wimpy and then turn right at the four-way stop street. Cross 10 streets and turn left into Commissioner St (at the Kentucky Fried Chicken). DIRECTIONS TO WYNDFORD FROM DURBAN:
Take main N3 from Durban. 25 km from Estcourt turn left onto Winterton road. Go through Winterton and Bergville, over Oliviershoek Pass and continue past the Sterkfontein Dam to the T-junction. Turn left and continue past the Qwa-Qwa turn-off through Golden Gate National Park and at Clarens turn left towards Fouriesburg. At Fouriesburg junction you turn left towards Caledonspoort. Wyndford is 8 km’s from this point and is on the right hand side of the road.
DIRECTIONS TO WYNDFORD FROM PORT ELIZABETH:
Take route from Port Elizabeth to Grahamstown, Fort Beaufort and then to Queenstown. From Queenstown on to Burgersdorp and Aliwal North. From Aliwal North to Rouxville, then to Wepener and Hobhouse bypassing the town until you get to a T-junction. Turn right to Ladybrand (N8). Bypass Ladybrand and Clocolan to Ficksburg. Approximately 45 kms to Fouriesburg, turn right at Clarens/ Fouriesburg signpost. 300 metres further on , turn right again, onto the Caledonspoort road. Wyndford is about 8kms further on the right before you get to the Lesotho border post and is well sign-posted.
DIRECTIONS TO WYNDFORD FROM BLOEMFONTEIN:
Take the N8 road from BLOEMFONTEIN, past LADYBRAND, and continue straight on to FICKSBURG on the R26 road. By-pass FICKSBURG and continue on the R26 BETHLEHEM road for approx. 48 kms until you come to the first turn-off to FOURIESBURG (and Clarens). Turn right at this junction. 300 meters further on, turn right again onto the CALEDONSPOORT road. Wyndford is about 8 kms further on, just before the Lesotho border post and is well sign posted.
