Xanadu Guest House offers comfortable clean accommodation in Three Spacious units, situated in the peaceful seaside village of Southport, just 10km north of Port Shepstone.
Accommodation is offered in one building, the Hibiscus and the Agapanthus Sea View unit and one ground floor unit, Frangipani. Hibiscus Garden is a ground level unit that can accommodate 4 guests. It is comprised of a double bed and 2 single beds. Agapanthus is a first floor unit with a veranda and can accommodate 6 guests. It is comprised of 1 queen bed, 2 large single beds and a bunk bed. Frangipani can accommodate 2 guests. Rooms have air-conditioning and are equipped for self-catering.
Breakfast can be enjoyed in the sea view dining room, or on the terrace overlooking the ocean. Guests also have access to braai facilities and secure parking.

Visitors can explore the seemingly endless coastline by discovering one of the many beaches on offer. Guests could also enjoy the sights and attractions of the nearby coastal towns.
Attractions:
Southport Beach is the latest beach to be granted Blue Flag status in KwaZulu Natal. Braai areas are shaded by milkwood trees, there are beautiful sandy beaches with rock pools, a tidal pool for the children, a safe guarded car park, clean ablutions and lifeguards.
Southport Beach also offers dolphin and whale watching opportunities.
The Oribi Gorge Nature Reserve is less than 40km away and offers hiking opportunities and beautiful scenery.
Port Shepstone Country Club is the gem of the South Coast and is one of South Africa's favourite golfing courses and estate. The course is set alongside the uMzimkhulu River and the Indian Ocean.
Port Shepstone is less than 10km away, where a variety of shops and restaurants can be found. The resort town of Shelly Beach, St Michael's, Uvongo and Margate are located less than 30 km away.

- If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total. - If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit. - If cancelling 21 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit. - If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit.

* The credit card used to make the online booking needs to be presented at check-in.
* A copy of the cardholder’s ID/ Passport is required on arrival.
* Check-in from 14h00-19h00. If you wish to check in later, please arrange it in advance. Please note that an additional fee may apply as staff will have to be paid over-time.
* Check-out by 10h00
* Please note that the booking will not be confirmed until the deposit is received.
* Full payment of the booking is due 7 days prior to arrival in peak periods.
* A refundable breakage deposit of R 500.00 is payable upon arrival. This will be refunded, provided all is in order within 3 days.
* Cleaning service is available at an additional charge.

Directions from Durban
Follow the N2 South Coast highway towards Port Shepstone.
Take exit 72 for R102 toward Hiberdene. Exit off ramp. Keep left and continue along this road (R102). Go Through robots in Hiberdene. Continue for about 16 km on R102 and go through another robot in Anerley. Continue and cross the bridge after the Anerley traffic lights and take the first turn off to the RIGHT (BROWN DOLFINVIEW BOARD), and then turn right again into Palm Road. Look out for the Xanadu Boards on the walls and fences. Continue for approximately 200 m to a four way stop. Do NOT turn left into Benjamin Drive (as per GPS ) GO STRAIGHT OVER to Caro Road. Follow Caro Road for approximately 100 m to the Sally Road T junction. Turn LEFT into Sally Road and then the first right into Lawrence Avenue. Xanadu Guest House is straight ahead, number 18 Lawrence Avenue.

N2 South Coast Highway plus Toll Road.
Exit Umtentweni #51. (This is the next exit AFTER the Hibberdene Exit - this section is a Toll Road)Turn LEFT after exiting and proceed 3.6 km on Rethman Drive to the traffic lights to Main South Coast Road (R102). Turn LEFT and drive 2.7 km until you see the BROWN DOLFINVIEW board on your left. ( you will go through one set of robots and the sign is just after the robot - if you go over the second bridge you have missed the turn off ). Turn left at the Dolfinview board and then turn right onto Palm Road. Continue for approximately 100 m to a four way stop. Do NOT turn left into Benjamin Drive (as per GPS). GO SLIGHTLY RIGHT AND STRAIGHT OVER to Caro Road. Follow Caro Road for approximately 200 m to the Sally Road T junction. Turn LEFT into Sally Road and then the first right into Lawrence Avenue. Xanadu Guest House is straight ahead, number 18 Lawrence Avenue.
