Approximately 230 km from Cape Town, on the road towards Graafwater and Lambertsbay, lies Ysterfontein, a Rooibos tea farm with an almost century-old farmhouse. Ysterfontein guest farm has been part of the tourist industry for the past 30 years.
The farm is well known for its Rooibos tea. Hundreds of visitors from across the world visit the farm anually.
In town there is a Rooibos tea factory, veldskoen factory, botanical garden, museum, restaurants and the well known Clanwilliam dam.
There are braai facilities, a swimming pool and a big lawn available for children to play on (braai wood for sale). Other activities could include walks on the Rooibos farm, hiking and flower viewing in season, or visit nearby attractions such as Lamberts Bay (50km), Cederberg Mountains (45km), Clanwilliam Dam (12km) or Biedouw (55km).
The Guest Farm have charming self-catering and self-contained thatch roof cottages. These cottages sleep between 2 and 6 people (in two completely separate bedrooms) and the surrounding area is quiet and peaceful. The fresh clean air and stunning views creates an unforgettable experience.

Cottages are available from 14:00 on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 11:00 on the day of departure.
