!Khwa ttu, the San Education and Culture Centre, 70 km north-west of Cape Town offers you the unique experience of being introduced to the world of the descendants of the first indigenous people of southern Africa.
!Khwa ttu is based on the theme “A celebration of the San culture, present and past, for a better future”. Its mission includes the restoration of the heritage of the San, to educate the general public about the world of the San and to provide training to the San in various areas.
Besides ae San-guided tour !Khwa ttu presents creative dishes in a cosy restaurant, unique San-produced items in their craft shop and a conference room. If you would like to stay at !Khwa ttu for a few days the guest house, bush camp and bush cottage provide appealing accommodation.
The !Khwa ttu Gallery regularly presents exhibitions about the San. The latest exhibition is about San storytelling. The exhibition is best experienced with San guides, but it can also be viewed individually during the opening times.
