These statistics are confirmed by a Skyscanner survey, which found that South Africa was the fourth most popular holiday choice for children.
The great infrastructure, the variety of excursions and activities as well as the diversity of child-friendly accommodation, make South Africa an ideal destination for families with children. And for visitors from Europe, there are good flight connections and no time difference.
Self-drive, self-catering safaris remain the most popular and the Kruger National Park most probably the ultimate destination. However, some of the other National Parks such as Addo Elephant, Mountain Zebra and Marakele National Parks offers similar child-friendly facilities.
