The Nelson Creek Wine Estate was already adjudged winner at regional level as Champion Wine Producer (Estates & Private Producers) for the Paarl, Franschoek, Wellington and Tulbagh regions.
The Estate was elected winner in the Wooded Chardonnay Category and has been awarded gold medals for its Cabernet Savignon for two consecutive years at the SA Young Wine Show. It was also nominated reserve champion white wine producer out of 864 entries.
The Estate comprises 142 hectares of diverse fertile soils situated on multidirectional slopes, making it ideal for the production of a wide range of wines of exceptional quality.
Wines are sold under the `Nelson's Creek' label, which depicts the river running through the Estate. Wines from the Estate are available at leading retail outlets and already appear on the winelists of more than 50 top Cape retaurants.
Visitors are welcome to taste wines in the cosy tasting room.
