Hoylake Inn is situated on the crest of upmarket Bunkers Hill, with an exquisite view of the lovely East London Beachfront and Golf Club. Bunkers Hill is one of the oldest suburbs in town, having been built next to the East London Golf Club, which is over 100 years old. As a result, properties are large with established gardens and lush trees, all adding to one’s general feeling of comfort and spaciousness. It is also common to see people enjoying an early morning or evening walk or run in our area, thanks to the general safety we experience here. East London is a city on the Indian Ocean, in South Africa’s Eastern Cape. It’s known for its beaches, such as Nahoon and Gonubie Beach. Fossilised human and animal footprints, plus artefacts from the Xhosa-speaking people, are exhibited at the East London Museum. Elephants, lions, zebras and other wildlife roam in several nearby game reserves.

- If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
- If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit.
- If cancelling 21 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
- If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit.
- If cancelling 999 days before arrival, forfeit 15% of the deposit.
The B&B is only authorized to accommodate properly registered guests.
The rooms cannot be used by more persons than originally booked. If additional persons are admitted they will be charged accordingly. We regret that visitors are not permitted in the communal areas (dining room/braai/pool etc) without requesting permission beforehand. A fee will apply for all visitors using the communal amenities.
The B&B reserves the right to judge acceptable levels of noise or behaviour of Guests or their visitors.
All bedrooms have been designated non-smoking.
The use of WIFI in the B&B is free of charge for paying guests only.
For security reasons, all children under 12 years of age must have adult supervision in communal areas, like the pool & braai area. Running is not permitted anywhere.
Gambling, contraband, prostitution, weapons, explosives, flammable objects, poisons, drugs, animals and pungent food are strictly prohibited.
Guests are to observe nighttime
peace & quiet from 10pm to 8am
The Guest is responsible
for damage caused to their allocated rooms.
The Guest is responsible for their own insurance to cover cancellation, curtailment, and loss of baggage, personal effects and money.
